My 83 abf air ride project

Had the car on and off different threads but yesterday took delivery of this so thought I'd start a fresh and show you all as I go along..

Did you go for the manual system over the digital as I can't see any controls in the photo.

Ye went for manual for two reasons. One to keep it simple and two I'm skint now lol!!

So this is the car it's going onto. I have just recently finished a bike carb conversion on it.

Good luck with install going to look mint . If you have the time if you could take photos as u install step by step, I reckon there is a fair few people on here that would really appreciate a how to guide of fitting air , I would like to put the tin top I have recently bought on it eventually

That's a good idea. Ok will take me a couple of week until I can start through work and stuff but will make it as detailed as I can.

Just online. Got a spare if you want it, just pay the postage.

Best place to start is in the boot. At the moment I have a big sub box in there so that needs to go but still want my sub so this is my solution. Bit rough but will work out in the end.

That's a lovely little mk1!! I like the idea with the sub as well, how does it sound?

It's not bad actually.  The idea is to build a false floor above it to mount the air tank on.

So today I made a false floor to go above the amps and speakers. Not the best but it will work out ok. Can't decide which way round to face the tank as looks play a small part in it!!!!
