a slow moving project

Hello,

After a few year on this forum, i finally have something to show.

but first let me introduce my self.

Feghea 30 years old from Bucharest Romania.

I but this Gti shell from a fellow forum'er from vw forum. romania. This idiot ruined a perfect body for his stupid ambition to participate with the car  in the tomanian hillclimb champioship. off course this idiot didn't manage to finish this project so is on me to finish the bodywork.

first i bought a 20v AEB engine,  after takeing it apart, i realise that i to much work to put in it, sow i bought another 20v but AGU this time. I was happy to find out that this engine is ok.

All the  suspension parts are brand new, down to every nut&bolt, bought a Haltech sprint 500 unit, k04 turbo, a couple of gauges and a AFR clock. Bam tot AUG  inlet, 340 reds injector, 3" maf, 02a trany lots of other thing that right now i-ve forgot.
This how the car was  looking, this idiot ruined a god  shell with tone's&tone's of body filler and stupid welding. To save this body o bought a 2'nd mk1, that never got hit or damaged for body parts& panels. Bare with me please there a lot of pics.

The wheels  didn't came with the car

heartagram thx for the kind remarks, i try my best to be original .

This weekend  i mannaged to finish the mold and the mold for the boot lid, engine bonnet, both front fenders, and the berg-cup arches.  I chose to make my own parts because every body that i talk to on the phone where not so confident about their work, and could't offer sufficient information about the parts. This is what turn out. The mold is made out off  OEM parts not aftermarket one's  and are a perfect fit.  Very proud of the end result. will come with more picture next weekend with the fitment on the golf.
