Hi everyone.

My name is Nik

I have been looking for a mk1 for about 4 months and finally found one but it needs some work to get her back on the road. This is my first restoration but i am a mechanical service engineer by trade so hopefully I can handle it.

Here it is after being pushed into my garage.





One of the previous owners had made a start in restoring the car but looks like most of the work will have to be redone. Cant wait to get started with a project thread.
