Sportline gearnob

Anybody got a sportline gearnob spare it's different to standard gearnob 

Got mine new from VW mate, should still be able to get the or try Shughy he might have one in stock.

When you phone VW they always say there is 2 or 3 left but they said that to about 5 of us that bought them round the same time and we all got one.

They order them in usually couple of days

I kept the receipt in the history file, but just sold the car

From memory somewhere around £40 maybe ….

Anyone got a picture of one because I didn't know the was any difference between a Sportsline gear knob and all other late gear knobs!  

Mind you, it's been years since I sat in a Sportsline.

Well b#gger me with a fish fork,  I never noticed that before. 
Not that I get close to many where I have lived for the past 20+ years! 

But now I know.

I tried Tps there no longer available its main agent different 

Gutted vw no longer stock this as somebody ordered the last 3 in Ireland mentioning no names

It's the same as the Corrado gearknob, might help you track one down.

The part number is 357711141A1BX

They're still available from VW Classic parts for €49 but postage is normally about €30 on top of that so you need to buy some extra bits to make it worthwhile.

Otherwise get on to your local VW dealer who should be able to order one in from Classic parts, or if you're desperate get one ordered in through VW Heritage = ££££.
