S1 Front Panel

Does any one know if the S1 front panel is avaliable anywhere?  the version with the tow eye 79-80 i think.

As far as I'm aware the s1 front panel is not available anywhere. But I think the only difference between the s1 and s2 front panel is the slam panel so you could just change the slam panel? And if its a gti there is two opening vents behind the bumper, non gtis only have one vent as far as I know.

No, ive not seen one for a long time, just wondered if anyone had seen somewhere on internet that had them.
the crossmember is different too as the radiator fitted to cotton real mounts which screwed in, not just dropped into holes like the s2.

dubboy  how can you tell a late genuine S1 Panel with the toweye? i know the S2 panel has the vw stamp in the center between the two vent grills, is there such a mark on a S1 Panel?
