Dx Engine

Anyone got a non smoker non rattler non knocking non leaking engine for sale?

Willing to spend up to £350ish for the right one!

Not fussed if it's just a bare engine with head.

It's gotta be good! I will pay via PayPal so any bad ones I will claim my money back and seller will pay the cost for return so please don't waste your or my time or your money for return carriage!

I'm happy to travel 50 miles from Norwich to collect but I have a L200 so must be means of getting it on the back or I'm happy to pay the cost for a courier to pick up but will need to be on a pallet.

Sorry if I seem harsh but I've wasted enough money..

there was one on ebay a few days ago £399 still in the car to be heard running. 108k from a 90 cabby.

I have one in Lincolnshire Spalding. Taken out as going 16v

I've got one for £50 been stored in the shed for 10 years. Was running perfect hence reason for keeping hold of it. 
Not sure of engine code but it came out of a mk1 gti and is definitely a 1.8
I would recommend getting it checked before fitting, due to the time it has been stood.

It's a 1.8 gti engine have a standard exhaust too. Few sensors missing as I used them for 16v

How quickly do you want it?

I will be taking out a tuned 1.9 that's a great engine next month. Currently in the car until my rebuilt one comes back.

I have an EV tall block engine (Block and Head) which was rebuilt in 2011 and did around 1500 before being removed (car was rotten and failed MOT so was broken). Have receipt of rebuild.

EV is the early MK2 engine code ('84 to '87), identical to the DX other than the inlet faced the other direction. The block, head and internals are the same.
