To be honest Des, I think you'll be lucky to find one in these parts but I could be wrong.

However I do see them come for sale on ebay.de fairly often.

I have a left hand drive non power steering rack if needed. Im converting my LHD MK1 to RHD so the steering rack isnt needed.

Thats ok mate mine was going spare so you could of had it FOC if it got you out of a bind.

I assume your Golf is LHD, maybe you could answer me a question can you tell me what side the handle that you lift under the seat to move it back and forward is.

Reason i ask i just want to see if the runners in the floor are differnt on LHD and RHD cars. I have bought a set of recaro seats retrimmed but they are RHD runners so not sure if this will work.
