No boot lock key!

Hi,when I bought my mk1 tin top the other month I didn't get the boot lock key as it was lost,the boot is locked so I can't gain access,how do I remove it to put a new one in? Any help is appreciated,thanks 

I assume that the door key does not work in the boot lock? Take the long black plastic strip off the tail gate and look inside with a torch. The lock is bolted in there i believe with 2 x bolts, can't remember as it was ages ago i took mine off. Undo the bolts and you will be able to pull the lock out. You should then be able to strip the lock down and re-pin it to match your ignition key
