Welding gas

Hi all,

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, does anyone know of group deals going for welding gas ? My hobby weld 9l has run out and looking at getting a bigger / cheaper bottle from BOC or the like

Best place I found is Thomas Graham's

For the last 10 years I have been using a pub bottle and get it  re-filled by a local fire extinguisher supplier.

Its C02 so no fancy argon mixes but works fine and only costs a tenner per re-fill.

I don't get on with co2, cheap but lots of splatter. for the past 25 years I have rented argon from boc, used to be fairly cheap but its now well over £100 a year just for the bottle, stupid price for a bit of diy, I plan to look into those rent free bottles you see advertised.
