Too much time...

Saw these on the inter-web and thought they were a clever idea…

Seems to be more than one person doing them, and with a variety of different uses, so I reckoned I'd adapt things a little, to make it better fit in with a classic car theme.

Already had a few of these old metal 'Eversure Fillacans' … you can pick them up for not very much, depending on condition.

They're more a 60's and 70's accessory, but don't look out of place in an 80's Golf.

Maybe not the same storage as a Jerry-can, but still useful to keep a tool kit or cleaning stuff in, concealed out of sight at shows.

I like the idea of the bar for the summer months fitted in the back of the Cabby nicely.

Driving in the snow capped mountains here or parked up down by the river Danube in the hot sun. 😀

Just wondering how to explain that to a Policeman who stops you and finds that beside the first aid kit in the boot! 😱😂👍

Go on, do it and stick up a few pics… though first, make sure it's not a valuable can, certain older ones seem to be in demand with surprising asking prices to match!

Love it, I have seen these before and thought about making one myself. The trouble is, in my case it's "not enough time". 

Always wanted to make a decent sound system out of one but never got round to it

That'd make a nice tool box if you got some foam cut out inserts so the tools stayed in one place.
