stainless system...

o.k. so I have a stainless 4-2-1 manifold but I am now after the rest of the system, anyone have any recommendations as to brand/type (mid box or no mid box) don't wanna really loud system but would like a little extra performance

Get a custom one, they're not much more expensive than an off the shelf item. Mine was £270 with a lifetime warranty, all in, made to who I wanted it exactly.

had mine made by Infinity exhausts near Bristol, £275 from manifold back, made while I waited, very pleased with it.

problem is I can't do that as the 4-2-1 manifold I have going on the car won't fit the standard pipework I took off, also the car is off the road as I am in the middle of doing a resto-mod and it ain't got a current mot so will need summat to fit that I can install before taking it to be moted!

Or find somewhere local and have it recovered there? Or wait til resto is over? 

That's my suggestion if you want it perfect it's the route to take. 

I've had a longlife custom exhaust made for my tintop and  its a good job. Nice sound and purrs along doing 60mph on the motorway!  

As brad has says - if you want it near perfect its a good route to take.
