On road parking

Post

Thinking of getting a car cover for the Golf over winter. I had doubts as it's parked on the road and so the tax disc couldn't be seen. However noe discs are redundant from next month, do you guys think it would be ok if I covered it but left the front reg plate showing? That way anyone who needed to know could check that it is taxed, but the bodywork could remain covered and protected from the elements. Any thoughts?

I'd get it covered if I were you!
They can check if it's taxed by the number, so don't need to see the screen as there will be nothing to look at!

Yes, I thought that, but then wondered whether they would need to see the whole car to make sure it matches the details they have?
