mk1/mk2 interchangeable parts

hello all!what parts fit the mk1 from a the  mk2?

not a great deal as the chassis is very different. the engine and gearbox plus a couple random bits of trim and thats pretty much it!

The rear wiper motor is also interchangeable, altough the mk2 uses a pin connector not spades.

That's good to know as I need a working one. Seen them on line for £400 which seems a little rich to me.

yes thats true forgot about that one, my mk2 had a broken mk1 motor in it when I got it

you need to unbolt it from the frame then it all swaps over.

the front motor also swaps while we'rte on the subject, nice upgrade too. as above plug needs splicing, or you can cut it off the mk2 and crimp spades on then push em into the mk1 plug if you prefer

Off to the breakers this week I think. What an incredible thought a mk1 that can clear rain from the screen - there is a god.

oh and a mk3 motor fits up front, the rear doesnt work tho unfortunatly
