Announcement: New Website

Post

Important!
Morning all,

As you may have noticed, we look a little bit different today, that's because over the last year we've been working behind the scenes, to deliver a new rebranded website, in order to improve the usability

Below are some of the key features we've added;

New design - this is the biggest change, we have tried to modernise the club by leveraging the colours from the early MK1's, with an updated font - we'd hope you'd agree it gives the club a much more modern look
Responsive design - the site now works better across all devices, including tablet and mobile
Menu - the new menu runs across desktop, mobile and tablet, and makes it much easier to get to where you want to be, especially the 'forum' tab, quickly navigate to sub forums from mobile / tablet
Logging in - you can now login from each page, at the top of every page. We realised that when you click an email you had to navigate back to the login page and then back to the post, well that's just no good - so we fixed it, login from wherever you are!
Social feeds - We've added our Facebook, Instagram and twitter feeds on the clubs homepage - you can now see a snapshot update each time you visit to know what's going on in the club in a glance

And there's many more!

Key thing to note, although it does look like a new site, it's not completely new, all the bits behind the scenes which run the site have remained the same, so you can use the site in the same way and none of your information has changed

Like any new product, we have done lots and lots of testing across multiple devices and browsers, but it's such a big site, not everything is always caught - if you do have any issues at all please reply below - and we'd love your general feedback, be it good or bad!

We hope that you like the site and that it makes it much easier to use

Thanks,

MK1 Team

Cheers,
The Mk1 Golf Owners Club

To both Rich and Jim, I'm working from an iPad right now and a MacPro, Android phone and Windows laptop earlier today.

I'm seeing little things like you guys but nothing major.

Please do two things, clear your browser's of cache etc… and do keep reporting the little things because I'm sure our 'Web Team' and members will appreciate it!  ;)

Hi, noticed when you view "new posts since" all the line spacing seems too close so they overlap each other. Anyone else getting this?
