AFTER MISSING AGM LOOKING FORWARD TO TATTON PARK

after a car failure made us miss AGM looking forward to Tatton Park on Sunday on the club stand ......who is going and what time are people planning on arriving ??

I'm going but I am booked into the concours so will be there about 8:30.

will have a wander over and hopefully see you not sure what protocol is on the club stand as never been before

rules are simple. haven't changed in years.
turn up. (some times people like to meet before and drive in together, tatton is a pain, 1 entrance and expect ques.)  
take a kettle, stove and tea bags (cups would be good too), everyone likes a brew.
perfect straight line parking is a must.

and the most important part.

enjoy the show, expect to chat about your car and dont worry about people getting close to your motor, everyone there has respect for the show cars.

tatton is a great show, don't forget to get out the show area and enjoy the park, lots to see, the house is cool but the lakes are more my seen.

see what happens with the weather, if it aint raining I may roll over on a bicycle for a wander round and hopefully pinch a brew.  

sounds good we will have stove kettle etc does the club take merchandise to sell on the club stand ??

didn't used too, but it's been a while since I was on a club stand. kinda depended on who was there and who had what in their boot.
enjoy the auto jumble (best place to spend you beans), it was always good at Tatton, as was the random stuff you get on sale there. dont forget to look in the brick square, lots of stuff to spend large sums of money on if you have the currents.

oh yer, it's tatton so take a lawn mower, they always stick the MK1OC in the weeds.

oh well will have to do a bit of rallying to get rid of the weeds first lol

I've not been a member for long but I'm looking forward to saying hello! I used to attend vwnw religiously back in the day but not been in a year or two, hope the weather is good to us !
